Villa Malee became one of Oriental Livings first turnkey projects and the success of the interior design package so stunning that it evolved into the show house for this reputable developer, representing nothing less than the ultimate in style.
Oriental Living played with the strong definitive structure of the villa, by introducing softness through the natural elements used in furnishings and the playfulness of vibrant colour.
The use of the organic wood tones and less-endangered materials like, bamboo, coconut palm and water hyacinth weave warmth into the choice of furnishings in this room.
The central original artwork by local artist is framed by the rattan blinds and complemented by the coconut vases to add a lived in feel, precise and delicate without any sense of clutter. The bright pink scatter cushions, with their splash of colour help define the soft divisions between the two rooms.
The bedroom oozes the ambience of a warm retreat,dressed with the passionate tones of burnt orange. The original artwork complements the warm wood tones and the intricate textured fabrics used, add a deeper level, creating a bedroom that is hard to leave.
